Brands and major decoration companies celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Printemps department store with unique creations dressed in pink. Vase, clock, chair or bowl, several flagship objects of designers have adopted this color a bit girly. The editorial tells you more!
Spring, 150 years in a few words
The Maison Printemps was founded by Jules Jaluzot in 1865. A true visionary, Jules Jaluzot made Printemps a store at the forefront of innovation: the installation of elevators, the creation of the very first sales or even organizations of store events. These historical values still guide each of the choices of Maison Printemps today through its many floors and spaces that offer ready-to-wear as much as jewelry or decoration, to meet the expectations of an ever-increasing audience.
The decoration is dressed in pink for the 150th anniversary of Spring
Many creators and designers have agreed to play the game and transform a flagship object of their collection into an all-pink design object. The XXL Tourbillons vase from Lalique has a splendid luster pink, the Pipistrello lamp from Martinelli Luce shines in a pretty dark pink. We also discover essential objects for the kitchen such as the salt mill and the pepper mill signed Peugeot or Laguiole knives. Exclusive products will be available at Printemps Haussmann, as well as a selection in all stores of the Printemps chain from March 20, 2015, the 1st day of spring!
